Writer off mark on Brick weekend hours idea

Why is John P. Lewis so concerned about Brick offices being open on Sunday when he lives in Howell ("Brick municipal offices should be opened on Sundays," Nov. 27 letters)? Are the municipal offices in Howell open on Sunday?

The municipal services in Brick are above and beyond that of our neighboring communities. Mr. Lewis is very free with the Brick taxpayers’ money in his suggestion that Brick hire one or more part-timers for Sundays.

Also, his remark about the Sabbath and the Christian rest day was uncalled for. I wonder where that came from?
