Ken Little Hawk returns
to Cultural Arts Center

Native American talent Ken Little Hawk will return to the Brick Cultural Arts Center, 515 Herbertsville Road, Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. The program is free, but tickets are required

Little Hawk shares Native American culture, traditions, dance and musical instruments within a storytelling format. He is a member of Actors Equity and the Screen Actors Guild, and has performed at Lincoln Center in New York and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Little Hawk composes, sings and plays Native American music on flutes, drums and other instruments. He was nominated for many musical awards, and his music and singing may be heard on the Public Broadcasting System works of Ken Burns’ "The West" and "Lewis and Clark." Pediatric ear infection program at medical center

Dr. Stephen Kupferberg, M.D., an ear, nose and throat specialist, will present the "Latest Advances in the Treatment of Pediatric Ear Infections" at 3 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Center for Kids & Family at Community Medical Center’s Cory Building, 599 Highway 37 west, Toms River.

He will discuss treatment options and common symptoms of ear infections, which include ear pain, tugging at the ear, fever, poor sleeping, crankiness and/or runny nose. The program is free, but preregistration is required. Call (732) 505-KIDS.
