The Jersey Dreamers, an 18U girls’ softball team, is looking for two players, including a high-quality pitcher, to complete their 2003 roster. The Dreamers plan on attending PONY Nationals and other showcase tournaments during the year. Practices start this month. The NJ Colts are looking for host families. The Colts play in the prestigious Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League, and they’re looking for a few families to provide housing from June 1 to Aug. 1 for players who live out of our area. The players are hard-working, respectful student-athletes, according to Colts representatives. Several former NJ Colts players have gone on to play professional baseball.
