      Georgian Court receives $263K grant

      LAKEWOOD — Georgian Court College has received $263,019 in federal funding for the 2002-03 academic year for the Student Support Services (SSS) program. Part of the federal TRIO programs, the goal of SSS is to help low-income and first-generation college students stay in college and graduate.. This is the second in a four-year grant cycle. The college received initial funding last year, and if re-funded, will continue to receive SSS funding for the grant cycle, which runs through the 2004-05 academic year.
