      JOSEPHINE VITELLO ROTONDO, 91, of Hazlet died June 22 at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. Born in Nutley, she resided in Bricktown before moving to Hazlet three years ago. Mrs. Rotondo was a billing clerk at Optic Case, Newark, for 15 years, retiring in 1960. She was also a former seamstress. She was a communicant of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Keansburg, and a former communicant of Our Lady of Visitation Church, Bricktown, where she was also a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was a member of the Bricktown First Aid Ladies Auxiliary, and an active member of the fund-raising committee for Deborah Hospital. Mrs. Rotondo is survived by her husband of 69 years, Daniel A. Rotondo; two sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick G. and Patricia Rotondo, and Daniel J. and Sally Rotondo, all of Hazlet; a brother, Jerry Vitello of East Hanover; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on June 25 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral gathering will be held June 26 at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a funeral liturgy at 9:15 a.m. at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Keansburg. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Deborah Hospital Foundation, New Jersey Region, P.O. Box 820, Browns Mills 08015-0820.

      JOAN A. BROCK, 74, of Silvermead, Freehold Township, died June 14 at home. Born in Jersey City, she had lived in Bayonne before moving to Silvermead 18 years ago. Mrs. Brock was employed for many years in the deli department at the Two Guys store in Jersey City. She was active in the Silvermead Community Club and was a member of the CentraState Medical Center Auxiliary. She was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Township. Mrs. Brock is survived by her husband, Francis T. Brock; two sons, Francis Brock of Hazlet and Thomas Brock of Long Branch; three daughters, Joyce Urban of Wayne, Deborah McDonough Kisielewski and Patricia Anderson, both of Bayonne; five sisters, Viola Palangio of Brick, Anna Corrado of Spotswood, Dorothy Lyons of Manchester, Elizabeth White of Seminole, Fla., and Beatrice McConnell of East Brunswick; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, followed by entombment at Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel. Memorial donations may be made to Caring Hospice, 525 Route 70, Suite 15B, Lakewood 08701.

      SALVATORE S. CRANGA, 86, of Spotswood died June 9 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. His wife, Mildred, died in 1967, and a grandson, Sean Virmalo, died in 2000. Surviving are a son, Joseph Cranga of Brick; two daughters, Janet Virmalo of Allentown, Pa., and Denese of Linwood; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was in St. James Cemetery, Jamesburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Loyola Retreat House, 161 James St., Morristown, NJ 07960, or to the Sean M. Virmalo Memorial Fund, c/o Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY 14850.

      Dominic A. Fuentes, 34, of Brick, died June 20 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Neptune, he resided in Brick most of his life. He was employed by Gusmer Corp. of Lake­wood for five years as an electrical supervisor. Mr. Fuentes was predeceased by his mother, Mary Jane, in May. He is survived by his fi­ancée, Maureen Walton of Brick; his father and step-mother, Manuel and Patricia, of Brick; a brother, Michael of Howell; a sister and brother-in-law, Kelly and John Glass of Philadelphia; two nephews, Zachary and Tyer; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Rose of Lima Chapel, Freehold. In­terment was in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Funeral arrangements were handled by Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
