Drum Corps Summer Music Games in Brick

The Phoenix Youth Organization and the Brick Recreation Department are sponsoring the Jersey Shore Invitational, set for July 20 at the Brick Recreation sports complex on Drum Point Road in Brick.

Starting time for the event will be 12:30 p.m. It will feature Drum & Bugle Corps from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Tennessee.

In addition, two feeder programs, the Phoenix Cadets of Brick and the Quest Explorers from Brooklyn, N.Y., will per­form in a special division geared to assist the development of young musicians and color guard members.

The New York Skyliners Alumni Corps will perform an exhibition prior to the start of the competition.
