The Brick Community Players will hold auditions for the October production of Neil Simon’s comedy, "The Odd Couple" on Aug. 6 in the Brick Township Cultural Arts Center, 515 Herbertsville Road.

Springsteen tickets

Thanks to a generous donor, the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey has acquired four tickets for Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band’s Aug. 31 performance at Giants Stadium. Two tickets will go to each of two lucky winners of a raffle that the agency will conduct on Aug. 7. Raffle tickets, at $25 per chance, are available from VNA of Central Jersey’s special events office at (732) 224-6970.

Marching Dragons host competition Sept. 27

The Brick Township Marching Dragons Band and the Marching Dragon Caravan will be hosting their ninth annual fund-raiser, "Musicfest," on Sept. 27. They are expecting more than 12 marching high school bands from the tristate area to be performing in this competition. The public is welcome to attend this event.
