OBITUARIES ANN M. MOORE, 84, of Howell died July 19 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Byram, Conn., she resided in Lakewood before moving to Howell. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Ellsworth Moore, in 1981. She is survived by three sons, Carl Bohack Sr. of Howell, Abram Moore of Brick, and Ellsworth Moore of Lakewood; two brothers, Frank Bohacs of Florida, and Julius Bohacs of Connecticut; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia. VALERIA RYNIEC HOLTZ, 88, of East Brunswick died July 24 in Thorn Wall Care Center, Carlisle, Pa. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for 10 years as an operator at Decorated Metals, Milltown. Surviving are her husband, Francis "Frank" Holtz; two daughters, Joan Konopacky of Edison and Shirley Gill of Gillsburg, Pa.; two sisters, Martha Lizura of Melbourne, Fla., and Helen Hendrickson of Brick; five grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick. FRED J. SCHROETTER, 73, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, formerly of Brick, died July 25 at home. Surviving are his companion, Jacklin Hills; three daughters, Theresa Walker of the Toms River section of Dover, Sandra Abbott of Goodlet, Tenn., and Linda Burkett of Point Pleasant; two sons, Fred Schroetter of Virginia and Michael Schroetter of Brick; two stepsons, Andrew Hills of Stroudsburg, Pa., and Christopher Hills of South Amboy; a sister, Joann Poggi of Long Island, N.Y.; and 11 grandchildren. Services were under the direction of Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy. Ruth M. Bordfeld, 80, of Brick, died July 29 at Leisure Park in Lakewood. She was born in Baltimore, Md., and had lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., and Tinton Falls before moving to Brick in 1990. She was a parishioner and member of the Rosary Society of St. Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church in Brick. She contributed to the Greenbrier Times, and was a volunteer at the Greenbrier Library in Brick. She was a receptionist for Liberty Mutual Insurance in Tinton Falls for 10 years, and retired in 1989. Prior to that, she was a switchboard operator for 20 years in several hospitals in Brooklyn. Mrs. Bordfeld was predeceased by her husband, Hubert, in 1994. She is survived by 6 sons, Glenn R. Bordfeld, of Wadsworth, Ill.; Gregory R. Bordfeld, of Evansville, Ind.; William J. Bordfeld, of St. Louis, Mo.; Christopher H. Bordfeld and Kenneth H. Bordfeld, both of Howell; and Vincent J. Bordfeld, of Freehold; a brother, Harry Eckard, of Florida; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church, Brick. Interment was in St. Anne’s Cemetery, Wall. Funeral arrangements were handled by C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia. Memorial contributions may be made to Mary Knoll Missions, P.O. Box 307, Mary Knoll, NY, 10545-0307. Virginia Woolley Shibla, 81, of Jackson, died July 30 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Mrs. Shibla was born in Howell, and had lived in Neptune before moving to Jackson 15 years ago. She was a meat cutter at ShopRite, Neptune, for 15 years, retiring in 1988. Prior to that, she was a waitress at Van’s Freehold Inn, Our House Tavern, Farmingdale, and Ship’s Wheel in Brielle. She was a member of the Jackson VFW Post No. 4703 Ladies Auxiliary and the Southwind Community Club in Jackson. Mrs. Shibla was predeceased by her husband, Frederick "Vic" Shibla in 1993; four brothers, Calvin, Robert Jr., Norman and Kenneth Woolley, three sisters, Wanda Carlson, Annaka Mandel and B. Jane Horner. She is survived by a brother, Charles W. Woolley, of Howell; a sister, Doris Rapp Brion of Lincroft; a stepson, Victor Shibla of Point Pleasant; two granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were handled by C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia. Interment was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Howell Lions Club Diabetes Fund, P.O.
