Local resident’s work to be displayed at hospital Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, a pediatric rehabilitation hospital, will exhibit the work of sports artist Stephen Marotta of Brick throughout the month of October. A visual arts specialist with the Elizabeth school system, Marotta’s work has been on display at local galleries throughout the area, and he is currently planning a one-man show. Also on display will be the works of photographer Ray Sliva of Union and artist Lisa Brown of Watchung. All artwork is available for purchase, with a portion of sales benefiting the hospital’s auxiliary. Admission is free and exhibits can be viewed from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the hospital’s east wing entrance, 150 New Providence Road. For details, call (908) 233-3720, ext. 5379. |
