Ray Kortman, the Long Island University softball coach, will be conducting a Snowbird Pitching Clinic at PlayBall Sports, Ginesi Drive, Morganville, on Jan. 31 and Feb. 7, 2004, from 10 a.m. to noon Cost for the clinic, which will focus on pitching mechanics, fundamentals, drills and much more, is $75. Kortman, a six-time Northeast Conference/NCAA Coach of the Year, will also conduct a Winter Hitting Clinic at PlayBall Sports on Jan. 10 and 17 from noon to 2 p.m. Cost is $75, and the clinic will focus on hitting mechanics, drills, vision training and more.
