OBITUARIES

ROBERT PATRUS, 72, of the Parlin section of Sayreville died July 2 in Raritan Bay Medical Center. Surviving are his wife, Czeslawa Krawiec Patrus; two daughters, Ewa Buros and Teresa Patrus; a stepson, Zbigniew "Zig" Krawiec; a stepdaughter, Myra Sakiewicz of Austria; a brother, Frank Patrus of Old Bridge; a sister, Stella Denkiewicz of the Brick Town section of Brick; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment was in the church cemetery.

ANGRIK STEPANOW, 46, of Yardville, died July 5 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Neptune, he resided in Howell and Robbinsville before moving to Yardville in 1998. Mr. Stepanow was a senior project manager at All-tech Inc., Monroe, the past 14 years. He was a member of Temple Nitsan, Howell. He played for the New Jersey Americans professional soccer team, and played on award-winning soccer teams at Hartwick College, Oneonta, N.Y., and Howell High School, where he also made the Hall of Fame for soccer. He was predeceased by his father, Boris Stepanow, in 1985; his mother, Anna Stepanow, in 1990; and a brother, Alexander, in 1990. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Sara Stepanow; two daughters, Katarina and Annalisa, both at home; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Badma and Ling-Shia Stepanow of Langhorn, Pa., Basan Stepanow of Howell, Narma and Ellen Stepanow of Brick, and Danara Stepanow of Philadelphia; and a sister, Sagma Stepanow of Manassas, Va. A funeral service was held at Nitsan Temple, Howell. Interment was at St. Vladimir’s Cemetery, Jackson. Arrangements were by C.H.T. Clayton and Son Funeral Home, Adelphia section of Howell.
