Veterinary Hospital to host puppy workshop

In order to help prospective and new puppy owners make the most of raising their puppy, Ocean County Veterinary Hospital, 838 River Ave., Lakewood, will hold a “Puppy Workshop” Sept. 18 from 3-6 p.m. Prospective and current owners are invited to bring their puppies to the workshop and playgroup. While the pups are playing and socializing, the owners will learn about proper diet, preventive health care, puppy first aid and safety, and tips on basic obedience.
