‘Organic Seed Starting’ workshops at Grange

The Southard Grange, 4860 Highway 9, Howell (just past Pizza Hut), will host a series of “Organic Seed Starting” workshops April 15, 16, 19, 22, 23, 26 and 29 from 10:30 to 12:30.

Participants will learn to grow their favorite foods, herbs and flowers. The fee of $10 per workshop includes a two hour hands-on workshop and a complete kit with six 4-inch growing pots, organic soil, seeds, a watering bottle, organic fertilizer and an instruction sheet, all in a canvas tote bag. All are welcome to attend.
