      Pamela J. Parillo Butler

      Mrs. Butler, 52, of East Windsor, died March 23 at home. Born in New Brunswick, she resided in North Brunswick prior to moving to East Windsor in 1988. She was a business education teacher at South River High School, where she taught for 29 years, and was named “Teacher of the Year” for 2003-04. She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Hightstown. She enjoyed athletics and time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Gerald S. Butler; a son, Jeffrey Butler of East Windsor; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gloria and Leo Pado of Brick, and Donna and James Carolan of North Brunswick; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Anthony’s Church. Entombment was at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.

      Henry E. More Jr.

      Mr. More, 84, of Middletown, died April 3 at home. Born in Kearny, he resided in North Arlington before moving to Middletown 42 years ago. Mr. More was a frame man at New Jersey Bell, Newark, for 40 years, retiring in 1985. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Hutchinson More, in 1999; and his brother, Richard More. Mr. More is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Maureen More of Holly Springs, Fla.; five daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and James Farrant, and Joan and John Bubenas, all of Middletown, Gail and Joseph Messineo of Neptune, Cheryl and Brian Barry of Ocean Township, and Judy and Larry McGuckin of Jackson; a sister, Edna Kropinski; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Burial took place at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.

      Claude G. Thouret Sr.

      Mr. Thouret, 91, of Matawan, died April 3 at home. Born in Lodi, he resided in Paterson before moving to Matawan six years ago. Mr. Thouret was a chemical operator at Givaudan Corp., Clifton, for 35 years, retiring in 1979. He served with the U.S. Army during the Normandy Invasion of World War II. He was a communicant of St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church, Matawan. Mr. Thouret was predeceased by his wife, June Thouret, in 1977; and his brother, Edmund Thouret. He is survived by a son, Claude G. Thouret Jr. of Matawan; a daughter-in-law, Marianne Stagnitto Thouret of Matawan; a sister, Blanche Horvath of Brick; and two grandsons. A funeral service was held at St. Clement’s Church, followed by burial at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements.

      John Henry Patrick

      Mr. Patrick, 79, of Old Bridge, formerly of North Brunswick, died March 25 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by two daughters, Marsha Patrick Seczney and Terry Patrick. Surviving are his wife, Carmen Patrick; three sons, James Bonanno of Brick, John Patrick of North Carolina and Daniel Patrick of Pennsylvania; two daughters, Cindy Weiler of Monroe and Margaret Bonanno of Chesterfield; three sisters, Jean Kotter, Fay Austin and Marion Heinz, all of North Brunswick; and eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. George’s Church, Helmetta. Arrangements were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.

      Sherry L. Berkebile Chodzko

      Mrs. Chodzko, 56, of Sayreville, formerly of South River, died March 22 at home. Prior to her retirement in 1995, she was a waitress at Red Lobster, East Brunswick, where she worked for 10 years. Surviving are her husband, William; two daughters, Debra Chodzko of Brick and Karen Chodzko of Sayreville; three brothers, Telford Berkebile of South River, Kenneth Berkebile and Henry Berkebile of the Toms River section of Dover; and a sister, Wanda Baczynski of East Brunswick. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River. Memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 516 High St., Suite 11, Mount Holly, NJ 08060.
