‘Workout Against Cancer’ benefits hospital

The Brick community can help save lives by participating in a “Workout Against Cancer” event to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event, scheduled for Jan. 27, is sponsored by Lady of American Fitness Center, 55 Brick Blvd, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Those who participate in or attend the event will help raise funds for the internationally recognized St. Jude Hospital in its ongoing fight against childhood catastrophic diseases.

Lady of America will be scheduling half-hour aerobic classes between 9 a.m. and noon and from 5-8 p.m. Participants can recruit sponsors based on the total minutes they exercise in one class that they take that day. Classes are open to female nonmembers as well as Lad of America members. Details: www.stjude.org.
