Caregiver’s Volunteers golf outing fund-raiser

Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey will hold its fifth annual Caring Classic Golf Outing at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood May 16. Sponsorships and golfers are being accepted. The day will conclude with an auction during dinner. Details: (732) 730-0700.

Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey is a nonprofit interfaith agency serving over 2,500 seniors in 21 municipalities. Its mission is to help the frail elderly and homebound disabled at risk of institutionalization with activities necessary to daily life enabling them to live in their own homes.

The golf outing is one of the major fund-raisers of the year for the organization that survives on donations.

Central Park May 17

The Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation will sponsor a trip to Central Park in New York City May 17. The fee of $37 per person includes transportation and a guided tour. Yoga classes offered

in Toms River

Yoga classes will be sponsored by the Ocean County Parks and Recreation Department this spring. Living Water Yoga of Toms River will teach the classes.

Walking Club for all ages at Ocean County Park

A Walking Club, conducted by the Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation, will be held May 24-June 14 at 11 a.m. at Ocean County Park, Route 88, Lakewood.
