      Lady of America Fitness Center, 55 Brick Blvd., will host a Workout Against Cancer event to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, Jan. 26 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

      Lady of America will be scheduling aerobics classes between 9 a.m. and noon and again from 5 to 8 p.m. Participants can recruit sponsors based on the total minutes they exercise in one class they take that day. Classes are open to female nonmembers as well as Lady of America members.

      The Brick Township Chamber of Commerce invites the business community to start off the new year at a special Business After Hours event hosted by Club Cool, 515 Brick Blvd., Jan. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. While networking, guests can get involved in a variety of fun activities such as skee ball, air hockey, basketball throw, and more at the children’s party and fun center. The cost to attend is $10 per person for members or two for $15, and $20 each for nonmembers. Admission includes wine and beer, hors d’oeuvres and door prizes.

      Resource tables will be available for members’ shared promotional materials. The goal of the evening is networking in a relaxed setting and attendees are encouraged to bring an ample supply of business cards.

      Kimba’s Pet Sitting will join Carmela’s Cleaning Service to offer area residents the combined services of both in-home pet care as well as professional house cleaning to pet owners as well as those without pets.
