Optimists Club seek new members

The local Optimists Club is seeking new members. Optimists are dedicated to serving the youth of the community. The club's volunteers serve as leaders, mentors and friends to help youngsters achieve a more positive and productive life. Through service programs, the organization is able to help young people develop positive attitudes and approaches to life that enable them to excel in school and in their communities. Optimist clubs donate to children's charities and sponsor scholarships, sporting events and activities for children,. New members are always being sought.
