Brick Players to stage 'How to Succeed in Biz'
The Brick Community Players will present "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" at 7:30 p.m. July 14, and 3 p.m. July 15. All performances will be held at the Brick Civic Plaza, 270 Chambers Bridge Road. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $8 for children age 10 and younger. For reservations call (732) 840-2015. For group rates and further information, call (732) 840-3515. A satire of big business and all it holds sacred, the musical follows the rise of Pierrepont Finch, who uses a little handbook, "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," to climb the corporate ladder from lowly window washer to high-powered executive. He tackles such familiar but potent dangers as the aggressively compliant "company man," the whiny nephew of the boss, the office party, back-stabbing co-workers, caffeine addiction and, of course, true love.
