      Motorcycle/Car Poker Run to benefit OCVTS

      The Eighth Annual Motorcycle Car Poker Run and Cruise Day sponsored by the Ocean County Foundation for Vocational Technical Education and Harley Davidson of Ocean County will take place Sept. 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The 100-plus-mile poker run will start at the Naval Air Engineering Station, Lakehurst, at 8 a.m. and end at Harley Davidson of Ocean County at 300 Route 70, Lakewood, at 3 p.m. Proceeds will benefit vocational education at Ocean County Vocational Technical School.

      Riders can participate in the poker game by donating $10 (plus $5 for passengers) and drawing cards at each of the five stops around the country. First-, second-, third- and fourth-place cash prizes will be awarded to winning poker players. There will be a car and motorcycle show at the end of the run with entertainment, vendors and activities.
