      Autoimmune Information Network Walk-A-Thon

The Autoimmune Information Network in conjunction with the Brick Township Municipal Authority will hold its "First Ever Walk-A-Thon" around the Brick Township Reservoir. The walk, the first event ever held at the reservoir, will be held Sept. 16, rain or shine.

Walkers have the option of either doing one lap (1.6 miles) or two (3.2 miles). All proceeds will go to the Autoimmune Information Network (AIN), a local based nonprofit organization that helps patients with more than 145 diseases that are classified as autoimmune.

The organization offers individualized service to help patients and their families. In addition to monthly support group meetings, they also offer an online support group, telephone assistance, help with patient assistance programs, finding proper diagnosis and doctors, help obtaining treatment and anything else that a person with these conditions could possibly need.

Walkers are asked to preregister by calling Barbara at (732) 262-0450. The first 200 walkers will receive free T-shirts. For more information, visit www.aininc.org.
