      Annelies D'Ambola

      Mrs. D'Ambola, 65, of Old Bridge, died Aug. 9 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband, William D'Ambola Sr. in 1991. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, William and Laura D'Ambola Jr. of Old Bridge, and Raymond D'Ambola of Milford, Pa.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Maria Johnson of Howell, and Lisa and Mike O'Grady of Brick; a brother, Peter Muehlan of Red Bank; two sisters, Barbara Schumacher and Regina Albert, both of Germany; and nine grandchildren. Arrangements were by Michael Hegarty Funeral Home Old Bridge. Memorial donations may be made to RWJUHF, Attn.: MICU, 8 Easton Ave., New Brunswick 08901.

      James A. Keogh

      Mr. Keogh, 71, of Toms River, died Aug. 17 at Community Memorial Hospital, Toms River. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and had resided in Middletown for many years before moving to Toms River two years ago. Mr. Keogh was a police sergeant with the Middletown Township Police Department for 26 years, retiring in 1992. He was a communicant of St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, Middletown, and a member of the Breakfast Club. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was predeceased by two brothers, Liam and Michael; and a sister, Mary Thompson. Mr. Keogh is survived by his wife, Mary "Bea" Whelan Keogh; a daughter, Patricia Keogh of Auburn, Calif.; three sons, Sean Keogh of Marlboro, Michael Keogh of Ocean, and Richard Keogh of Atlantic Highlands; a sister, Elizabeth Balaniz of Spring Hill, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at St. Catherine's Church, with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. The John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, was in charge of arrangements.
