OCC graduates the most NJ STARS scholars

The New Jersey Council of County Colleges has identified that Ocean County College (OCC) is number one among the 19 New Jersey community colleges in graduating NJ STARS scholars.

NJ STARS is a state-wide program that provides high school students in the top 20 percent of graduating classes to attend a New Jersey community college for the first two years for free. In order to continue in the program, students must maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.

The following six NJSTARS students have applied for graduation in May 2006 and live in Brick: Michael Vincent Ernst, Carrie Lynne Hamelink, Lisa Marie Gorski, Jennifer Diane Maniscalco, Robert E Schmidt Jr., and Lisa J Vuksanic.
