Sports Shorts

The Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation is conducting a variety of advanced sports clinics. Local high school coaches will teach the clinics. Pack a cold lunch and water and sports equipment for each clinic.

An advanced soccer skills class will be held at the Lake Shenandoah Soccer field C on New Hampshire Avenue in Lakewood on Thursday, Aug. 10, from 1-3 p.m. for those 9-13 for $6 per child.

A cross country and running clinic will be held at the Beach Complex of the Ocean County Park, Route 88, Lakewood on Thursday, Aug. 10, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. for $6 per person, for ages 11-17 years old.
