+ An all-male revue will be held at the Laurelton Fire Company No. 1 on Route 88 west in Brick Aug. 11 at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 each. No one under 18 will be admitted. Details and tickets: (732) 458-7095.

+ Summer Italian dinner will be served Aug. 12 at 6 p.m. to benefit First Baptist Church of Laurelton, 1836 Route 88 east, Brick. All are invited to attend the catered pasta dinner at the church. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under age 12, and may be purchased at the church on Sundays at 11 a.m. or by calling (732) 840-1505.

+ Ocean County Coin Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 17, Sept. 7, Sept. 9 and Sept. 21 at the Point Pleasant Beach Firehouse on Arnold and St. Louis avenues in Point Pleasant Beach. Education and coin auctions take place at the meetings. There is no charge for admission; all are invited. A free coin auction for juniors takes place at 6:45 p.m. prior to the meeting. + The Sierra Club, Ocean County Group, will host a fundraising barbecue and picnic Aug. 19 from noon to 4 p.m. at Windward Beach Park on Princeton Avenue in Brick. There will be food and swimming, volleyball and a DJ music. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 5-10. Children under age 5 are admitted free. + An informal open house will be held at Congregation B'nai Israel, a Conservative Jewish synagogue located at 1488 Old Freehold Road, Toms River. Prospective members, including interfaith couples, are welcome to meet the rabbi, cantor, officers and board members Aug. 20 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and find out about programs and groups, for children from nursery school through adult.
