+ Ocean County Coin Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 7 and Sept. 21 at the Point Pleasant Beach Firehouse, Arnold and St. Louis avenues, Point Pleasant Beach. Education and coin auctions take place at the meetings. There is no charge for admission - all are invited. A free coin auction for juniors takes place at 6:45 p.m. prior to the meeting. + A free memory seminar and luncheon will be held Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. at the Howell Senior Center, 251 Preventorium Road. Hosted by Dr. Manjula Thopcherla, a board-certified physician of internal and geriatric medicine at Kimball Medical Center, the seminar will focus on memory loss and dementia. + Railroaders Weekend will be celebrated Sept. 9 and 10 at The Pine Creek Railroad of Historic Allaire State Park, Route 524, Wall Township. The event will feature multiple trains, locomotives, shop tours, displays, exhibits and more. Train rides are $5 per person and the rest of the show is free. + Brick Township Democratic Club will host its annual family barbecue Sept. 10 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Windward Beach Picnic Grounds, Princeton Avenue. Tickets are $20 per person. + The Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources (JSAHR) will present "The Top 15 Things Employers Can Do to Improve Employee Health" Sept. 14, 8-10 a.m. at Branches restaurant, Monmouth Road, West Long Branch. The registration fee and a full buffet breakfast is $25 for JSAHR members, $35 for nonmembers, and an additional $5 for walk-ins.
