For the Record

The story "Funds, awareness raised during walk-a-thon" in the Bulletin's Sept. 21 edition quotes Autoimmune Information Network Vice Chairwoman Terry M. DeVogel as stating "There is a national organization that raises money for research, but they don't help anyone. We're the only ones." DeVogel claims she was misquoted and actually said, "There is a national organization that raises money for research, but they don't help any individuals now."

The story "Council appoints 3 to BTMUA, Zoning Board" in the Bulletin's Oct. 5 edition states a grand jury found Andrew P. Nittoso and Daniel Newman Sr. innocent of any criminal wrongdoing in June 2005. Nittoso and Newman were cleared of any criminal wrongdoing by a grand jury in the controversy surrounding Newman's 19-year-old unpaid sewer bill.
