Sports Shorts Brick Township's two high school girls bowling teams turned in solid second-place finishes in keenly competitive tournaments on Saturday. Brick Memorial, which was second in the Bishop Ahr Tournament a week earlier, again finished second in the Westfield Tournament as Jessica Albrecht again had the high series of the day, while Amanda Britton, Danielle McClelland, Becky Sherman and Kately Christine also bowled well. Sparked by Tracy Ganjoin and Nicole Nardiello, Brick Township finished second in the Fairleigh Dickinson University Invitational. The tournament had a Baker style format, which means each bowler rolls two frames at a time.
