Entries sought for Ocean Student Photo Contest
      The Third Annual Ocean Student Photo Contest for high school students in Monmouth and Ocean counties is currently accepting entries. Pictures must be submitted by March 17 and will be judged locally at that time. Selected pictures will be submitted to the National Youth Showcase Contest conducted by the Photographic Society of America.

Tom Giannattasio Jr. memorial scholarships
      The Tom Giannattasio Jr. Memorial Fund will be offering two scholarships to 2007 graduating seniors from Brick Township High School and Brick Memorial High School. The applicants must have a parent or guardian who is a volunteer fire or emergency medical service (EMS) personnel, actively employed paid fire or EMS personnel or a heart transplant recipient.
