Eric L. Isaksen Sr. Mr. Isaksen, 47, of Brick, died March 12, 2007, at home. Born in Perth Amboy, he had lived in Cliffwood before moving to Brick nine years ago. He was an ironworker for Ironworkers Local 373, Perth Amboy. He also loved fishing and hunting. Mr. Isaksen was predeceased by his parents, Marie (Larsen) and William Isaksen, as well as a brother, Chris Isaksen. He is survived by his wife, Lori (Smith) Isaksen; two sons, Eric Isaksen Jr. of Spring Hill, Fla., and William Isaksen of Manahawkin; three daughters, Melissa Isaksen of Manahawkin, Stefanie Isaksen of Pennsylvania and Kira Isaksen of Brick; two sisters, Karen Tappin of Louisiana and Darlene Locorriere of Cliffwood; two brothers, Robert Isaksen of Cliffwood and Billy Isaksen of Florida; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A service was held at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Keyport, followed by a committal service at Rosehill Crematory Chapel, Linden. Cremation was private, with Day Funeral Home, Keyport, in charge of arrangements.
Eleanor R. Macesko Murray Mrs. Murray, 80, of Spotswood, died March 8, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, Franklin V. Murray; two daughters, Karen Derechailo, and her husband, Steve, of East Brunswick and Lynn Ann Tommy, and her husband, Stanley, of Howell; three sons, Franklyn Jr., and his wife, Gayle, of Gainesville, Fla., Daniel, and his wife, JoAnn, of Langhorne, Pa., and Kevin, and his wife, Linda, of Clinton, Ark.; a brother, Joseph Macesko of Brick; two sisters, Mary Paterson of Jackson and Veronica Carpenter of Bayonne; eight grandchildren; a step-grandson; and a great-granddaughter. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, P.O. Donald E. Clayton Jr. Mr. Clayton, 54, of Hazlet, died March 17, 2007, at home. Born in Newark, he resided in Irvington prior to relocating to Hazlet 30 years ago. He was a locomotive engineer for Amtrak, and the local chairman for BLET, New York Division II. He was predeceased by his parents, Anna and Donald Clayton. He is survived by a son, Donald E. Clayton III of Brick; a daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Patrick Farrell of Hainesport; his former wife, Diana Clayton of Brick; a sister, Donna Kozlow of Holmdel; two brothers, Rory Clayton of Hazlet, and Gary Clayton of Holmdel; and a grandson. A funeral service will be March 21 at 9:15 a.m. at Day Funeral Home, Keyport. Interment will follow at Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet.
