English conversation group leaders sought

The Ocean County Library is looking for volunteers to lead an English conversation group at several of its branches. Locally, the conversation groups will be offered at the Brick, Jackson, Lakewood, Plumsted, Point Pleasant Beach and Toms River branches. Conversation groups will give people who are learning the English language an opportunity to practice speaking with others at an informal setting. Group leaders are needed to facilitate the groups. Library staff will provide a training session for all leaders.

Meetings last approximately one hour. Volunteers for the English conversation groups must speak fluent English. Knowledge of other languages is not necessary.
