      Edmund "Mondo" Talarico

      Mr. Talarico, 83, of Red Bank, died Oct. 12, 2007, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Red Bank, he was a lifelong resident. He was a retired cobbler and owned Economy Shore Repair, Red Bank, for 45 years. He served with the U.S. Army Air Corps 385th Bombardment Group in England during World War II. He was an avid Mets fan, and enjoyed traveling both to Europe and the United States with his wife. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Catherine Rovito Talarico; two sons and daughters-in-law, Emile and Dorothy Talarico of Holmdel, and Vinnie and Mary Talarico of Brick; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

      Ronald T. "Zeddo" Hynes

      Mr. Hynes, 74, of Toms River, died Oct. 9, 2007, at home. Born in Elizabeth, he resided in Aberdeen for 40 years before relocating to Toms River in 2002. He was employed at General, Cooper and Armstrong tire companies for several years. Mr. Hynes was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe Roman Catholic Church, Toms River. He was a member of the St. Mary's Hilltopper Club, Elizabeth. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jeanne; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Janet of Keansburg, Michael and Lynn of Brick, and Patrick and Amy of Matawan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Dan Wright of Hazlet, and Sheila and Jack Conway of Keyport; a brother, Jack of New Bern, N.C.; a sister, Celeste Donnellan of Edison; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church. Arrangements were by Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, Toms River. Memorial donations may be made to Vitas Hospice Care, 1 Meridian Road, Eatontown 07724.
