• The Brick Morning Rotary Club will be honoring Rich Lau, owner of the Briarmill Pharmacy, at its annual Foundation Dinner Dance Oct. 26, 6-10 p.m., at Woodlake Country Club, Lakewood. Lau is being feted for his contribution to both the club and to citizens of Brick. There will be dinner, dancing to the Joe Arminio and the Family Band, a silent gift auction, a 50/50 raffle and a cash bar. Tickets are $65 per person. • A blood drive will be held Oct. 30 at Ocean Medical Center, 425 Jack Martin Blvd., Brick. • The Brick Municipal Alliance Committee (B-MAC) will host a fall scrap-booking crop on Nov. 3 at the Brick Civic Plaza, 270 Chambers Bridge Road, Brick. Cost is $40 per cropper and $20 per vendor and includes a light breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, snacks, a large workspace, vendor tables, free use of tools and more. • Brick Children's Community Theatre, a nonprofit organization will hold a gift auction and dinner Nov. 8, 6 - 10 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, Route 37, Toms River. Raffle tickets for the grand prize of an eight-night Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Miracle departing from New York City can be purchased for $5 before or during the auction.
