      Anna Elizabeth Huber Sadler

      Mrs. Sadler, 74, of Spotswood, died Oct. 19, 2007, in Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice at Roosevelt Care Center, Edison. Her husband, Frederick Sadler, died in 1998. Surviving are four children, Jeane Yockavitch, and her husband, Dennis, of Spotswood, Linda Schilling, and her companion, Brad Hatt, of Arizona, Fred Sadler, and his wife, KT, of Brick, and James W. Sadler of Concord, N.H.; a sister, Erika Neuner of Bavaria; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were under the direction of Spotswood Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Barbara E. Cheung Memorial Hospice, 1 Roosevelt Drive, Edison, NJ 08837.

      Anne S. Johnson

      Mrs. Johnson, 84, of Freehold Township, died Oct. 24, 2007, at her daughter's home in Brick. Born in New Brunswick, she had resided in Bound Brook before moving to Freehold Township in 1939, and had spent the winter months in Lutz, Fla. Mrs. Johnson was a school bus driver for the Freehold Regional High School District and had previously been employed by 3M Co., Freehold Township. She was a member and past president of the American Legion Post No. 54 Ladies Auxiliary, Freehold, as well as a member of the Freehold Elks Lodge No. 1454 Ladies Auxiliary and the Sweet Adelines International women singers, Jersey Shore Chapter No. 15. She was also a former Girl Scout leader for the Monmouth Council and a member of the 3M Bowling League at Howell Lanes. Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by her husband, Edward John "Gene" Johnson, in 1997, as well as a sonin law, Robert L. Bennett Sr.; a brother, Jon Sherman; and a sister, Joan Johansen. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert E. and Gail Johnson and Edward John III and Marie Ann Johnson, all of Howell; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathleen Susan Bennett of Freehold Township, and Debra Anne and Mario Rios of Brick; a brother, Thomas Sherman of Florida; a sister, Nora Preller of Milltown; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. A private interment was held at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown section of North Hanover. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Freehold First Aid and Emergency Squad, 18 Spring St., Freehold, NJ 07728; or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
