Obituaries Joyce Dolores Olimpio Mrs. Olimpio, 64, of East Brunswick, died Feb. 19, 2007, in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Surviving are her husband, James Olimpio; two daughters, Joyce Pauline Ferigne, and her husband, Joseph, of Brick, and Jill DeLuca, and her husband, Joseph, of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick; a brother, Thomas Mahoney of the Toms River section of Dover; two sisters, Kathleen Schwendeman and Patricia Mahoney, both of Virginia; and four grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was private.
James J. O'Shea III Mr. O'Shea, 52, of Sayreville, formerly of Brick, died Feb. 22, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was employed for the past eight years as a truck driver with Southeastern Plastics, North Brunswick. Surviving are a son, James J. O'Shea IV of Old Bridge; three daughters, Christine Chasinoff, and her husband, Richard, of Brick, and Peggy O'Shea and Holly O'Shea, both of Allentown, Pa.; a sister, Mary Martin O'Shea of Sarasota, Fla.; a grandson; and a step-granddaughter. A Mass was offered at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Cremation was private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.
Bernard P. "Pat" Dunnigan Mr. Dunnigan, 78, of Old Bridge, died Feb. 19, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Surviving are his wife, Eileen Dunnigan; four sons, Thomas Dunnigan of Palm Bay, Fla., and James Dunnigan, Michael Dunnigan, and John Dunnigan, all of Old Bridge; three daughters, Patricia Halas of Old Bridge, Kathleen Matthews of Farmingdale and Marianne Daskalovitz of Brick; a brother, William Dunnigan of Old Bridge; 12 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
Frank W. Gaeta Mr. Gaeta, 77, of Hazlet, died March 3, 2007. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he relocated to Hazlet in 1962. He was a truck driver at City Stone, Hazlet, for 14 years, retiring in 2001. He served with the U.S. Military as a Corporal during the Korean War. He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Nettie Petrazullo Gaeta in 1997; a sister, Rosette Annastosia; two brothers, William and Peter Gaeta; and a granddaughter, Carlee Wines. He is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Leo Armenti of Middletown, Nettie and Charles Emslie of Hazlet, and Donna and Steven Wines, and Karen and David Kiley, all of Brick; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Marlene Gaeta of Union Beach; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Linda Gaeta and Kember Korte, Millie Pontone and Collete Murphy; a brother-in-law, Gerry Annastosia; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be March 7 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral service will be March 8 at 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a funeral liturgy at 10 a.m. at St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport.
Louis A. Conforti Mr. Conforti, 86, of Jackson, died Feb. 12, 2007, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. He was born in Newark and had lived in Nutley and Seaside Heights before moving to Jackson in 2005. Prior to retiring in 1982, he was a machinist with Bendex Corp., Teterboro and Eatontown, for more than 20 years. From 1964 to 1980, he also owned and operated "The Bozo Drop" on the Seaside Heights boardwalk. Mr. Conforti was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Conforti, and a sister, Josephine Russo. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Phillis Conforti; a son, Louis A. Conforti Jr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Phillis and Wayne Jeffrey of Howell; a sister, Carmela Colangelo of Brick; and two granddaughters, Grace and Sophia Jeffrey. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Jackson, followed by interment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.
Joan M. Heeser Mrs. Heeser, 72, of Hazlet, died March 4, 2007, at Overlook Hospital, Summit. Born in Newark, she resided there and Union, prior to relocating to Hazlet in 1963. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Family Seniors Club, Union Beach. She was predeceased by her husband, John K. Heeser Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Weller of Alaska, and Sharon Meo of Union Beach; a son, John K. Heeser Jr. of Hazlet; two stepdaughters, Joan Simko of Edison, and Linda Pradke of Brick; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
