Scarpelli's actions will be his legacy, reader says

Brick without Steve Acropolis as its mayor will be nothing more than a municipal museum.

Do you all remember that it was Steve Acropolis who alerted all of us abut five years ago that the curator of this museum had other interests detrimental to our quality of life and that we would be suffering in the very near future because of these illegal happenings?

Now it has come full circle and Brick now needs Steve and his fellow council members to bring back the life and allure that has been the true legacy Brick has demonstrated before the Scarpelli administration's downhill fall.

It bothers me to listen to persons say that Joe Scarpelli did so much for Brick. Remember this, all the while he was accomplishing these acts of political goodwill and publicizing himself, he was also extorting money from businessmen and lining his pockets illegally.

It is inconceivable to think that Joe did anything good for Brick. I wish that all those die hard Scarpelli followers come to their senses soon. You make me sick.

Finally the penalty for extortion, corruption and lying is incarceration with loss of any possible pension. This then will be our (Brick) legacy to Joe Scarpelli, felon.

P.S. I want an invitation to his going away party ... front row seat ... after this I will throw a wreath off the Tappan Zee Bridge in his memory.
