Brick Garden Tour tickets available
This year the Brick Township Historical Society, in conjunction with the Garden Club of Brick, has 12 distinctive gardens for display at its Garden Tour. The tour will be held July 10, rain or shine, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature "Tea in the Garden," featuring homemade cookies and cakes, an art show by the Laurelton Art Society and a plant sale at the Cultural Center, Herbertsville Road, Brick. Plant-related items will also be available for sale. A map and directions will be provided to visit the 12 gardens.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the following locations in Brick:
Allen Farms, 511 Herbertsville Road; The Jersey Paddler at the intersection of Routes 88 and 70; The Original Mr. Alan's Florist, Route 88; and the Havens Homestead Museum, 521 Herbertsville Road.
The museum is open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon and Sundays from noon to 2 p.m., excluding holiday weekends. Details: (732) 892-9480.
