Ed Koch to speak and sign books at library
Ed Koch, former mayor of New York City, will speak at the Ocean County Library Headquarters, 101 Washington St., Toms River, July 23 at 7 p.m. He will discuss his latest book, "Buzz: How to Create It and How to Win With It" in the library's Mancini Hall. It is the mayor's 17th book. The book shows rising stars in every field how to stand out and shine brighter with honesty, integrity and style. Koch tells readers ways to turn mistakes into opportunities, engage the media and create loyal and adoring followers. Koch, 82, was the 105th mayor of New York City, serving for three terms from 1978 to 1989. He is currently a partner in the law firm of Bryan Cave LLP, the host of a Saturday morning radio program and a columnist for the New York Press and Newsmax. Vendors sought for Kids and Crafts Flea Market
The Herbertsville Fire House, 601 Herbertsville Road, Brick, will host a Kids and Crafts Flea Market Aug. 25. Vendors are currently being sought for the event. Spaces are available at a cost of $10 each. Tables will not be provided.
