OCREA accepting reservations for fall trip Join the Ocean County REA (OCREA) on a four-day/three-night trip to Newport, R.I., and Essex, Conn., Oct. 1-4. The package includes round-trip transportation from Toms River, accommodations at the Best Western Mainstay Inn, three full breakfast buffets at the hotel, three complete dinners at different locations, one complete luncheon at Griswold Inn, visits to the U.S. Navy Submarine Force Museum and the Newport Grand Casino, guided tours of Newport's 10-mile drive and of various mansions, and shopping in Newport's Brick Marketplace. Also included are admissions to the Green Animals Topiary Gardens, Astors-Beechwood Harbor Cruise, Essex Steam Train and Riverboat, and more. All members and nonmembers welcome. The package price is $575 per person for double/triple occupancy and $725 per person, single. A deposit of $50 is due by July 1 and the balance, if not already paid in full, is due by Aug. 24.
