Raffle to help raise money for scholarships
      The Brick Township Chamber of Commerce Educational Foundation is sponsoring its Dream Dollars Raffle, an opportunity for individuals to make their own dreams come true as well as those of local students. The raffle is limited to 200 tickets, which are $100 each, and the grand prize is $10,000 based on the sale of all the tickets.

Historical Society to host opening and dedication
      The Brick Township Historical Society will open the Havens Homestead Museum, 521 Herbertsville Road, Brick, and will have the dedication of its resorted barn at 10 a.m. April 12. A ceremony will mark the dedication. The museum will be open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon and Sundays from noon to 2 p.m.,April through October.

Ireland tour sponsored by Ocean County College
      Ocean County College (OCC) will sponsor an Ireland tour from June 22 to July 2. It is open to all members of the community. The tour includes transport by luxury motor coach with a driver/guide for 10 days. Hotel accommodations include private bath for nine nights. Scheduled meals include nine full breakfasts and seven dinners.

Bank hosts 'Shred Days' to prevent identity theft
      Identity theft is the fastest-growing financial crime in the United States. New Jersey has one of the strongest consumer protection laws to fight identity theft, but it still happens. OceanFirst Bank is helping the public to prevent identity theft by holding two "Shred Days." The first will be held from 3-6 p.m. April 18 at the bank's Brick Pavilion branch, 70 Brick Blvd.
