Resident questions former mayor's pension stance
      I never thought that the time would come when I ever agreed with Dan Newman Sr.; however, it has an asterisk attached to it. Now I don't feel so bad about it. I read an article that was printed on April 10, which was sent to the Brick Township Council and also to the newspapers, titled "Council not acting fast enough on Nydam pension.

Ocean Ice Palace purchase belongs on the ballot
      I believe that a township community center is needed, but of what magnitude and at what cost? Is the Ice Palace the best choice for it? Too many questions are being left unanswered. Do we have current estimates of the total costs involved? Do we have the purchase costs, the bonding costs, the costs of renovations and the cost of additions to the property?
