      Church yard sale to be held May 17

      Optimist Club to host Night at the Races
            The Brick Optimist Club will host its second annual Night at the Races from 6- 10 p.m. May 10 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 373Adamston Road, Brick. The cost is $35 per person. The evening will include appetizers, two free drinks, entertainment, prizes and $50 in betting bucks. Proceeds will benefit Ocean's Harbor House, Toms River.

      Cruise to benefit Jersey Shore Animal Center
            Relax and cruise to Bermuda while supporting the animals at the Jersey Shore Animal Center. Norwegian Cruise Line's Dawn will sail from New York for a seven-day cruise on June 29 to Bermuda for three full days.             The Brick Youth Club (BYC) has announced the following upcoming dances for the spring, with more to follow throughout the summer. Dances will be held 7-9:30 p.m. May 9, May 30 and June 13, with more dances to be scheduled over the summer. Prompt pickup is appreciated. Reservations for dances will be taken from the Monday prior to the event through Thursday night.
