Scannapieco is bringing Brookdale Community College to the national tournament for the 13th time.             Student-athletes from Brick Township came away with three of the four Most Valuable awards during the Ocean County outdoor track and field championships at Neptune High School, an unprecedented accomplishment in the meet's history.

      Memorial wins two games, while Township loses to TR North
            Brick Memorial's baseball players, who expected to qualify for the NJSIAA Tournament after a 3-0 start, had their hopes dashed last week but then had their spirits lifted a few days later in the Ocean County Tournament with two victories on Sunday, one over state-ranked Jackson Memorial.

      High school softball teams competing right to the end
            It's been a wild roller coaster ride for Brick Township's girls softball team this season. Although first-year head coach Gerry Caci was not certain throughout the season what team would show up, it stayed in one frustrating pattern for most of last week off its most grueling stretch of the season.
