Allies Inc. seeks volunteers for gardening

Allies Inc., a nonprofit organization for people with disabilities, is looking for volunteers to help maintain vegetable gardens at its group homes in Ocean, Mercer, Burlington, Camden, Hunterdon, Somerset and Bergen counties.

Maintenance includes watering, planting seeds, weeding and making vegetable beds. The master gardeners will help the individuals in the group homes learn how to garden.
