Keep Chatsworth ATV park open, reader says

Can anything be done about the closing of Chatsworth ATV Park? My three grandchildren and their many friends are upset about the closing. I understand the owners are losing the lease by the end of September.

Chatsworth is a place where all riders can enjoy a day of pleasure. I have gone a few times when my grandchildren go and it's wonderful to see everyone having a great time. It is very well organized and seems to be very controlled and safe. There is no other safe place in this area where you can ride dirt bikes and quads.

The state or the county should consider buying and preserving the Chatsworth landmark or let the landlords holding the lease reconsider and let Chatsworth renew the lease. There's got to be some way for Chatsworth to remain open for all the loyal riders, both young and old.
