Golfers, sponsors needed for July 28 golf tourney
      The BrickMunicipalAlliance Committee on Alcoholism, Drug Abuse and Youth Services (B-MAC) will host its seventh annual Golf Tournament on July 28 at the Eagle Ridge Country Club, Lakewood. The tournament begins with registration and breakfast at 7 a.m., shotgun start at 8 a.m. and a barbecue luncheon with prizes awarded at 1 p.m.

Club to visit Brooklyn Botanical Gardens
      The Brick Township Garden Club is sponsoring a trip to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens on June 24. The trip includes a 90-minute guided tour, a gourmet sandwich lunch in the Steinhardt Conservatory and a 10 percent coupon to the gift shop. The bus will depart from the Cultural Arts Center on Herbertsville Road at 8 a.m. and return at 5:30 p.m.

Season beach badges, parking permits on sale
      The Brick Township Recreation Department has announced that season beach badges and season parking permits for summer 2008 are now on sale in the Brick Recreation Department. The price for season badges is $25 if purchased prior to June 15. After that date, the price increases to $30 for season badges.

B-MAC to host dinner and movie for seniors
      The BrickMunicipalAlliance Committee's (B-MAC) Brick Youth Club will host a free pasta dinner for township seniors, followed by a showing of the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End" on June 20 at the Civic Plaza, 270 Chambers Bridge Road. Doors will open at 4 p.m. and the dinner and movie will begin about 5 p.m.
