Pizza parlors raise dough for local girl

Two local pizza parlors will be holding a fundraiser for 4-year-old Avery Lubrecht of Brick., who is being treated for medulla blastoma, a form of brain cancer that attached itself to the brain stem. Mention Avery's name from Aug. 4-Aug. 11 at Federico's Pizza on Route 88 in Brick and on Bay Avenue in Point Pleasant Beach. The owners, Desa and Federico Dalia, will give 25 percent of sales to help the family with costs not covered by insurance. The offer is good for dining in, takeout or delivery.
