Peter A. Russo

Mr. Russo, 57, of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, died Aug. 1, 2008, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He resided in Hazlet, and Palm Coast, Fla., prior to relocating to Port Monmouth six years ago. He was a security guard at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, for eight years. Prior to that, he was employed in law enforcement for several years. He is survived by his wife, Heather Boyce Russo; a son and daughter-in-law, Salvatore Russo and Kristen Edminsten of Port Monmouth; a daughter, Amanda Russo of Port Monmouth; his parents, Philip Russo and Josephine Jairaffo Russo of Marlboro; three brothers, Philip of Charlotte, N.C., Gerard of Cream Ridge, and Domenic of Brick; two sisters, Carmela of Bear, Del., and Lucyann Lester of Las Vegas; and a granddaughter. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
