James F. Nicora Sr.
      Mr. Nicora, 62, of Matawan, died July 30, 2008, at home. He was a truck and heavy equipment operator and dispatcher at Stavola Contracting Co., Tinton Falls, and owned and operated Janic Trucking Inc., Matawan. He was predeceased by a grandson, Cory Snyder, in 2007.

Florence Petrik
      Mrs. Petrik, 73, of Lakewood and formerly of Manalapan and Freehold, died Aug. 7, 2008, at home. Her husband, Cornelius A. Petrik Jr., died in 1995. Surviving are two sons, Eric A. Petrik of Califon and Kirk A. Petrik and his wife, Kristin, of Glen Gardner; three daughters and sons-inlaw, Judy and Stephan De Fonzo of Wayne, Pa.
