      Jersey Shore coin show to be held Sept. 6

      The largest coin show at the Jersey Shore will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Laurelton Fire House, Route 88, Brick.

      Last year, over 300 attended. Eight exhibits and 28 dealers will be available for visitors. Club members and dealers will be able to answer questions about coins, paper money, tokens and medals.

      There will also be a junior table as well as a junior treasure hunt and a treasure chest of coins.

      The club will have a number of handouts for youngsters as well as a wooden nickel commemorating the event. In addition, there will be hourly door prizes to include a raffle for a gold coin and silver coins.

      Admission and parking are free. Refreshments are available for those wishing to lunch at the show. Details: 732-255-6911.
